How a Brand New YouTube Promotions Company Generated 544% ROAS on their Facebook Ads

About the Client

The client helps businesses promote their YouTube channels by generating real worldwide video views. They’ve already delivered over 500 million views and have worked with agencies, record labels, artists, and more.

The Problem

While they had the skills and experience to succeed, it was a new business that didn’t have an existing customer base. As a result, their website wasn’t generating any sales. They needed to find a way to get the word out about their services so they could start showcasing their skills.

Their Goal

The client wanted an affordable solution for driving traffic to their website and generating sales. They needed to identify who their ideal customer was so they could start serving them with targeted advertising.

The Solution

Since the client was a brand new business we didn’t have any previous buyer history to work with. So, our first task was to determine who their audience was and what type of advertising spoke to them.

We started them off on a budget of $500/month and developed several different campaigns targeted at different audiences.

The first batch of creative ran for a week to allow us to gauge which ads and audiences were working and which ones needed to be tweaked or removed. Once each ad had over 5000 impressions we had the sample size we needed to make changes and optimize the campaign based on the results.

During week two we started scaling up the spend, with the goal of reaching 50-100 conversions per ad, per week. This process continued into week three as we further optimized the ads in order to push towards our goal.

Eventually, we realized the tracking pixel they had installed on their website wasn’t capturing their purchase values properly, so we implemented a server-side API to capture the sales directly from their payment processor. This allowed us to track their results properly and make the necessary adjustments to their ads.

The Results

We knew from the start that if the right customers found the client’s company they would jump at the chance to work with them and take advantage of their knowledge and experience.

And we were right.

Right from the start of the campaign the client went from generating no sales through their website to getting multiple sales a day. This was in addition to the thousands of impressions they were receiving and all the new potential customers they were being exposed to.
